Group Classes

Beginning Piano Camp

This one-week course designed for children ages 6 – 8 requires access to a keyboard. We will use app technology on your electronic device at home and the class is based on the Faber Adventures Program. We will create our own music, participate in group music making, games, and board activities that are reinforced with ear training and sight singing.

WHEN: June 10 – 14 and June 24 – 28, 3:30 – 5:00pm.

Music Theory Bootcamp

This one-week camp is for beginners with general music/piano background up to the 5th grade in school. Utilizing tangible and intangible methods of theory, ear training, composition, transposition, improvisation, four-part writing, chord and scale analysis, sight-reading, sight-singing and utilizing the keyboard to create the 12 bar blues.

WHEN: June 3 – 7 and July 8 – 12, 2:00-3:30pm.

Music Theory Bootcamp for Middle Schoolers

This one week camp is for beginning and intermediate musicians/pianists in middle school (6th to 9th grade). This class will have the same approach as above, but will move more quickly and be a two-hour class instead of an hour and a half.

WHO: Beginner and Intermediate level musicians in 6th grade to 9th grade.

WHEN: June 3 – 7 and July 8 – 12, 3:30 – 5:30pm.

COST: $200 *material costs will not exceed $15
