A native of Kansas, Allyson Eskitch graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Music and Doctorate of Musical Arts in the field of piano performance. While attending university, Allyson studied with Alice Downs and renowned pianist, Sequeira Costa. Her Master of Music degree in piano performance, with an emphasis on pedagogy, was attained at the Peabody Institute of Music under the principle tutelage of acclaimed pianist, Ann Schein. She has also worked and studied with distinguished pianists such as Richard Goode, Abbey Simon, Claude Frank, and John Perry.
Ms. Eskitch currently teaches piano at University of Tulsa and the Barthelmes Conservatory. She is an active chamber musician, performing locally with groups such as the Tulsa Camerata and is a founding member of Trio Aleszky. She has also performed as a soloist with the Signature Symphony, performing works of Mozart and Mendelssohn.
Originally from Kansas, Allyson currently resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she also maintains an active private piano studio, teaching students of all ages.
