Diane Morrow

Voice

Diane Morrow is from Dallas, Texas, and has lived in Tulsa now for many years. From the early age of 13, Ms. Morrow knew that she wanted to teach others to experience the joy of singing. Her humble beginnings as a neighborhood vocal coach to both children and parents kicked off what would become a lifelong career. At 16 years of age, she began a church soloist career with St. Matthew’s Episcopal Cathedral in Dallas.

Ms. Morrow later went on to further her studies at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. There, she obtained her BM and MM degrees in Voice Pedagogy and Vocal Performance, with a minor in Opera and Piano. She enjoyed teaching voice to SMU drama, dance, and art students while working for two years on her Master’s degree. In Dallas, she also began her acting career and toured Texas in musicals such as Little Mary Sunshine and The Apple Tree.

When Ms. Morrow came to the Tulsa area, she continued as a church soloist at All Souls Unitarian Church and St. John’s Episcopal. Additionally, she began acting with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society. At this point, Ms. Morrow has directed more than 85 musicals and plays in the greater Tulsa area.
