Yvonne Hazelton

Piano

Yvonne Hazelton has lived in Texas, Michigan, California, and Paris, France, and taught piano in all those places. She has a Bachelor of Arts in music from Abilene Christian University, a Master of Arts in Piano Performance from Eastern Michigan University, a Master of Arts in Music History from San Francisco State University, and a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Kent’s Paris School of Arts and Culture.

 

Yvonne’s favorite composers are Brahms and Debussy, although Schumann, Joplin, Beethoven, and Bach are a close second.

 

She speaks French, intermediate German and novice Chinese; loves reading; swims and does yoga; attends chamber music and orchestra concerts; visits arts museums; travels; and enjoys hosting dinner parties.

 

She has three adult children and a kitten named Bruce.
