Consisting of violinist Jesse Mills, cellist Ole Akahoshi, and pianist Reiko Aizawa, the Horszowski Trio has quickly become a vital force in the international chamber music world since their formation in 2011. In 2023, the “Horszowski Trio Prize” was created by the prestigious Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, to award piano trio winners. The trio is based in New York City. It is Ensemble-in-Residence at the Longy School of Music of Bard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and of the Leschetizky Association in New York City.

On Saturday, March 16th, 2024, twelve students (four pianists, four violinists, and four cellists) from the Tulsa area had the incredible opportunity to work with the Horszowski Trio at The bART Center For Music, many thanks to our partner Chamber Music Tulsa. The bART involved students from its own Barthelmes Conservatory program, Tulsa Youth Symphony, The University of Tulsa, Oral Roberts University, as well as other local violin, cello, and piano studios.
