Senior Spotlight: Leslie Ryzhkov

“I have been a part of the Barthelmes Conservatory since I was seven years old. At first, I played the piano. Then, at ten years old, I was accepted into the Conservatory as a cello student.

I have been a student of Krassi’s for five years. I can say that The bART has shaped my life in a way. Music is a big part of my life and the bART is largely to thank for that. There were ups and downs, but in the end, my love for music only grew. I have to thank all of my past teachers and especially Krassi for helping me grow as a musician and as a person.

I’m planning on keeping cello in my life forever. At the moment, I’m not sure where I’ll be going to school, but this fall, I’ll be going to school for a degree in Culinary Arts. Maybe later, I’ll go to university for Music!”
